Cork is the quintessential plant-based alternative. Unlike leather, its production requires no tree felling or heavy chemicals. It's a natural, biodegradable, and renewable material. By choosing Oak Forest, you opt for an accessory that respects biodiversity while offering a unique aesthetic.
Is cork really durable? (The 7-year test)
That's the question we get asked the most! For 7 years, our customer feedback has proven it: high-quality cork is as resistant as leather. It doesn't crumble or tear. It has a honeycomb cellular structure that gives it great flexibility and exceptional shape memory.
Where does your cork come from and where are your products made?
Total transparency: our cork comes exclusively from the cork oak forests of Portugal (the Alentejo region), where it is harvested by hand every 9 years. All our items are manufactured on-site in Portugal, ensuring a short supply chain and ancestral leather craftsmanship.

How do I clean my cork bag or wallet?
That's one of cork's great advantages: it's waterproof and very easy to clean.

Daily care: A simple soft cloth and soapy water (Marseille soap or neutral soap) are sufficient.

Is cork afraid of rain?
Absolutely not. Cork contains suberin, a natural substance that makes it completely waterproof. You can carry your Oak Forest bag in a downpour without fear of water stains or deformation.
Will the color fade over time?
Like any natural material, cork can develop a slight patina over the years, which gives it character. However, our dyes are certified to resist UV rays and daily friction.
📦 Orders, Deliveries, and Returns
What are the delivery times?
We carefully prepare your orders within 24 hours (business days).

Metropolitan France: 3 to 5 days via Chronopost relay point.

Europe: 5 to 8 days.
Can I return my item if it doesn't suit me?
Of course. You have 14 days after receipt to change your mind. The item must be new, in its original packaging. Simply contact us via our form to start the return process.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes. With our 7 years of experience, we have full confidence in our products. Every Oak Forest item benefits from a warranty against any manufacturing defect. Your satisfaction is our absolute priority.
🌍 Commitment and Ethics
Are your products 100% Vegan?
Yes, without exception. We do not use any animal-derived components. Our glues and finishes are also selected to comply with the PETA-Approved Vegan charter.
However, some shoes or sandals may still contain leather, but this is usually specified in the product description. We are increasingly replacing this leather with synthetic leather.
